Seeing as Wikipedia, the LCB, BBB, and PENNDOT have declared our little site here not only to be “one of the best of 2010,” but also having the “most important opinions offered,” we figured it was time to present our own little awards show.  Called The Junkies. Get it?  Like, people who are addicted to drugs.  Funny stuff.  Anyway, since we’re so cool and non-conformist, we decided to keep our topics a little more interesting than “Best Foreign Short Film.”  Like OMG, who even cares lol.  So while you wait for The Academy to figure out what was cool and what wasn’t, check out our much shorter awards show.  The 5 categories we decided to recognize this year were:

Hello again and welcome to another stupid Fivegoo.  Don’t you just hate these things?  To all 4 of you who come to this site, we hope you enjoy Fivegoo #9, where we bitch about minutia.  Sometimes stuff happens in movies that the common viewer won’t even notice.  But we’re stupid and we watch too many movies, so we notice it.  And it pisses us off.  This is the 3rd Fivegoo of December and there’s actually 2 more to go!  How exciting.  If you’re detail-oriented like us, you’ll notice something odd about each of us over the course of these December Fivegoo’s.  It all culminates with the next one.  Stay tuned for excellent everything.

Welcome back to December’s Chrtistmas extravaganza of Fivegoo’s.  As promised, we’ll have a new Fivegoo for you every week of this month.  Except the first one.  This time, we try to figure out what makes a movie good.  This one was specially suggested by our genius friend and co-writer, jat59072.  And my how thankful we are that he did.  If there’s one thing we need here at TWJ, it’s deep, meaningful queries like this.  So watch as we hypothesize and criticize and ultimately, vaporize the competition with our intellectual dialogue on what makes a movie good.  See you next week.

Holy crap.  Haven’t done one of these in awhile.  Sorry folks, but we’ve just been way too busy making our own movies, seeing movies, working, schooling, and writing poetry.  Luckily we’re back, and with horrible lighting!  Stay tuned in December because we’re locked and stocked and ready to make up all the months we skipped in Fivegoo land.  We recorded 4 Fivegoo’s in a row last night and here is your first installment of this mayhem.  Least Favorite Actor/Actress.  Come watch us blaspheme and have bad opinions, as jat59072 would say.

Well folks, we made it just in time.  It’s our August Fivegoo and we did it in a big BIG way.  We shot it on the set of our newest short film Blood Signal. Not only that, we shot it in stunning HD. Actually, we shot it on 2 HD cameras.  AND we had a boom mic this time!  God we rule.  Dave got the luck of the draw and hosted ANOTHER topic.  Don’t let jat59072′s typo and mis-titling of the video fool you, this fivegoo is FAVORITE VIGILANTE MOVIES (NOT Favorite Vigilantes).  Check it out and show all your friends so we can make up for the ridiculously high budget of this one.

Hello and welcome to another exciting rendition of FIVEGOO.  This time, Josh chose the topic of Favorite Movie Villains.  This was quite appropriate, as IFC and Empire dually recognize June to be “Movie Villain Month!”  We had a lot of fun with this one, especially because we filmed it on a porch.  Check out what we said, but don’t respond.  Thanks!
